I guess so. I was thinking in terms of making the final role call harder on the wolves, but it's not like they need our help to figure out whom they ate.

If we must have this conversation, "probably" is somewhat milder than I'd have expressed that. There's no telling if Ling was aware of his role as de-facto seer & placed importance on communicating his targets discretly, but unambiguously. If he did, I think the case is pretty clear cut for Shark, but that's so out of the range what I'd expect for N1 that I'm not convinced Ling told us at all.

There's a reason Alexa and him got on so well.

Because on unfortunate occasions, I have been known to be mistaken, and communicating with the person is how I could've found out. That's why I tried to talk to Ling and when he conveniently abandoned ship, I doubled down, but whatever else there might have been to my complaints (which I stand by), they weren't indicative of his wolf play. More of what you do makes sense if you're simply playing for Team Evil, but then again, I've seen you play Hanabi, I shouldn't expect a lot of common ground even if we were on the same side, and if that's not the case this came, there'll be another.

All that's to say, I was hoping to delegate the matter & figure you out over time, except you went out of your way to not let me.

Well at first I didn't assess you at all and you were just there for me. Actually I suspected you to be the assassin after the night, so you were in my town for about one hour, but after re-reading the game, I could see that there is a possibility that you and LB were a team

if Book or Jadio wolf, lynch = info, else nope. I'd be down to investigate that; with LB down and Sunnie re-joining, we might get to play with active players only. That's of course also an excuse not to develop opinions on the active players sooner. I've got too many ways that make sense of that lynch if you only tell me which one's going to sound smart in hindsight; I haven't found LB informative; I've not forgotten you, Daro.

The benefit of solving this puzzle right now is squarely on the wolf side. I don't see how prolonging the conversation right now is going to help, even though obviously at some point we'll want to do a role call.

so there are three different bits of information available

-> now they now which Person they should try to vote out (realy dangerous for the villagers)

-> they dont now nothing about the healer

The wolves tried to eat someone who got healed

-> realy good for us, because they can't distinguish the healer from the old man

-> the wolves know whoever got hit by the arctic wolve, now cant be the healer

See, that's kind of my point. You pick one line to make just the statement I gave you an obvious opening for, and that's all you deem neccessary.

On record, I don't think trying to reason with Alexa is particularly indicative of alignment, even though I appreciate you guys taking up the mantle. (It's not what I'm going to pour my afternoon into.) In terms of post number, the highest numbered player I'm looking at remains Ling - that longer-ish post on the same page (#8) looks like he's going for activity and content, but it reads as an assortment of superficial reactions to the odd quote here and there that didn't add to my understanding of either Ling's or anyone else's perspective on the game. Voting Jadio feels cheap. Yeah, we're obviously going to kill him dead if he doesn't deliver on yesterday's teaser (and there's at least another reason to give his file the evil eye), but not giving him the chance to talk to us today feels plain conterproductive, or even like you're putting gratuitous amonts of pressure on a townie that might be about to talk themselves out of it.

Anyone, that making sense so far? There's been a nefarious plot on my afternoon nap in favour of forum posting, I'd prefer to be exhausted in company then.
